Our Story
We’re Rebecca and Xavier, and our goal is to finally open the doors which the industry has kept shut, until now. Between us, we have over 50 years experience in medical aesthetics, mindset, business, branding, and clinical practice.
Over the years, we’ve seen countless talented clinicians stall because their confidence wavered, because business strategy felt completely unfamiliar, or they were missing a structure and mindset to run a business and believe in themselves.
We’ve lived that struggle too. We know what it feels like to fail, not from lack of technique, but from not having a clear route forward.
The Academy is the programme we desperately needed when we started out. The complete transformation journey the industry has been missing. A community instead of isolation. Connection over competition. A safe space for every question.

Meet the Founders
Rebecca Welstead-Green
Nurse Prescriber, Mentor & Co-Founder of The Academy of Medical Aesthetics
Rebecca has spent two decades helping people find their confidence, now she’s helping clinicians find their own.
Beginning her career in paediatric and emergency nursing, it was in the high-intensity of A&E that Rebecca first recognised the power of mindset: the impact of staying composed under pressure, and the importance of empowering people in moments of overwhelm. When she later moved into medical aesthetics and mentoring nearly two decades ago, mindset became the foundation of her teaching and practice.
Her commitment to natural, confidence-led results soon led her to a prestigious Harley Street clinic, where she became known for her calm, patient-focused approach and where her love of teaching began. Time and time again, she met clinicians held back by imposter syndrome and the realities of running a business; struggles she understood, having faced them herself.
Seventeen years after building her own successful clinic, Rebecca turned her sights to something even bigger. She’s made it her mission to create the roadmap the industry has been missing – channeling her expertise in aesthetics, education, mindset, and neuroscience into transforming the future of the profession.
Dr. Xavier Goodarzian

After 20 years raising clinical standards in aesthetics and as lead trainer for Galderma and DermaFocus, Dr. Xavier is now raising the standard of how clinicians learn, grow, and lead.
As the founder of one of the longest-standing medical aesthetics clinics on the South Coast, Xavier has trained hundreds of clinicians over the years – many of whom now teach and run successful clinics of their own. A former board member of BCAM (British College of Aesthetic Medicine), Xavier has dedicated much of his career to strengthening regulation and safety within the industry.
Having walked the roadmap himself, he understands what it truly takes to succeed in this field. For Xavier, building a thriving practice goes beyond technical skill; clinicians must feel empowered to deliver safe, confident, and effective results – both clinically and commercially.
So when Rebecca approached him about starting a new venture, he was ready to help lead the industry into a new era. His goal is to bring his deep scientific and ethical expertise, his qualifications in dermatology and cosmetic medicine, and his own business experience to The Academy. Xavier’s mission: To help clinicians turn technique into confidence and confidence into lasting business impact.
